There a significant difference between having a perspective on the bigger picture versus “defending” one aspect of it. The person you’re attacking stated they weren’t defending Biden because it’s obviously wrong, but they were pointing out that in the larger scheme of things it’s comparatively SOP or even small peanuts compared to other similar wrongs committed by other people in the same position.
I’m quite disgusted with the Biden administration’s handling of Netanyahu myself, but that doesn’t mean the answer is to replace it with someone with an even worse human rights track record.
Why do you bring up replacement in this conversation?
pushing for better leadership within the party doesnt equate to boosting Trump. We’re supposed to have our own standards, not only exist as some foil to the far right. Thats exactly how we all lost in the last election.
Lots of people prefer to speak of Biden only in the context of comparing him to trump. strange, eh. He cant stand on his own two feet, he needs that Trump comparison, or who is he? Shall we look at his actions without that crutch of comparing him to Trump? no?
So sure, we can talk about both here, because otherwise the centrists would have nothing at all to say.
They compare them because they are the most recent presidents. I’ve also seen Biden compared to Obama and DUHbya, but you don’t see those because that’s not what you’re looking for to propagate your preferred narrowly-focused narrative.
Grow up, get some perspective, and get over your high-n-mighty self.

nonsense. You compare them because centrists tried running as slightly better than the far right, and calling that good. Well its not good, and when you keep brining it up it looks like you want to keep going along with the same mistakes that brought us to this epic loss. We’re not going to get out of this by making the same exact play with the same exact lack of ideology as always.
Grow up, get some perspective, and get over your high-n-mighty self.
I’m done with you. Goodnight.
And you tell me to grow up? You replied to me, right? Take some responsibilities for your own actions, centrist. And if not operating in a philosophical world where everything is relative to fascism counts as “high and mighty” to you, then thats not great.

Because the community is called “Politics,” not “The Democratic Party.” We can talk about both here.
