That’s the thing: if you or I got 10mil we’d live it up and not worry about accumulating more wealth. Beyond that it’s just collecting for collecting’s sake. Clearly, when you’re the richest man on earth, the only way to collect more (of anything) is to collect power by buying the president.
Obviously their hobby is collecting more, and since they don’t actually do any work to collect more - they just get to play the game, they are happy to keep.on doing it
Nah, I’d contintue accumulsting wealth and use that money to fight climate change, fund anti-big-oil propaganda, I’m gonna steer humanity to a brigher future. Fund progressive politicians, get a progressive elected POTUS. Get socialist policies implemented (yes it will impact my wealth too, but fuck it lol, YOLO). Try to influence other countries too. And I’m gonna get a big statue of me in front of the UN building. I’ll be remembered as the one who save the world from climate change. My name will be remembered longer than anyone else in history. 😎
