Journalists from the Polish daily „Gazeta Wyborcza” have revealed details about the overseas travel expenses of Karol Nawrocki, the Law and Justice (PiS)-backed presidential candidate, which were covered by Polish taxpayers.

    Hmm, so 0.00001% of their gdp? The US collectively blew around $6 billion on the 2024 Presidential election (mostly from SuperPac spending, but billionaires wasting our money is every bit as bad as tax dollars being wasted)

      Other than in vague sense in which Poles are citizens of EU, no, that’s specifically came from the funds of IPN which Nawrocki is president, and IPN is financed from Polish budget. Entire IPN should also crash and burn since it’s far right historical rewriting agency, and it’s a den of PiS corruption, audits show around 25% of its budget is spend on suspicious things.
