It blows my mind how much people take OTC pain killers. I take one OTC pain pill maybe every three or four years (if even that).
I’m not anti medicine by any means, but I just don’t get it. Either I experience a lot less pain than other people or other people can’t be mildly uncomfortable for a little while without immediately taking drugs (and not even fun drugs)
It is terrible for your stomach if you take it on an empty stomach. It also doesn’t work as well. You need to eat something when taking it. Helps it get absorbed better and decreases the risk of an ulcer.
until you irreparably damage your liver and/or kidneys
Ibuprofen doesn’t damage your liver/kidneys; paracetamol does. Ibuprofen is bad for your heart

It may be dependant on age.
I used to never take analgesics, but as I got older I found myself taking more and more as my body tends to hurt more and more.
I thought the main concern with ibuprofen was the stomach? Liver (and maybe kidneys?) is Tylenol. Maybe I’m wrong though and it’s both.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Either way chorinic/excessive use is not good for you physically
Maybe I’m mixing them up?
