I’ve had a theory for a while that most marketing is targeted at neurotypical people, and that it is therefore far less effective on some neurodivergent people. People love to act like neurodivergent people are immune to marketing and propaganda. Maybe the detail-oriented ness of someone with ASD does ruin a narrative, but I feel that it’s mostly just that people and companies aren’t used to targeting these demographics.

YouTube Music allows this, maybe they’re losing ad money to them on the people that weren’t going to get premium anyway.

The HTTP response times are sometimes a little rough, but the team has managed to keep up a large part of the fediverse for the past few years. It’s impressive, and I’m happy that I ended up chosing lemmy.world after migrating from lemmy.ml.

I’m not sure about silly frogs, but I think showing something like a supporter icon or something could help? I’ll try making a quick PoC.
