It doesn’t make any difference from a moral point of view for me, but I’d like to point out that the number of land animals killed per day is roughly 225 Million. The other 2.675 Billion are fish and other sea creatures.
Also, these numbers exclude bycatch, so the number is going to be even higher (but it does say “for human consumption”, so it makes sense to exclude them).
