Im obsessed with this game at barcades but its impossible to play at home. There is a shitty steam version that doesnt have online anymore. Since its an arcade cabinet im guessing they use a computer under the hood of some kind that has the game loaded.
How could one possibly get the game to play on a computer of some kind? Reverse engineering?

Looks like it was released on Switch. But, like the arcade version, it’s local multiplayer only, since the online servers have shut down. You should be able to find the Switch version through the normal channels.
I haven’t played the Switch version in a few years, but it at least used to be cross platform multiplayer. Not sure if it still is?

maybe? I’m not sure how this clone is supposed to work.
This is a clone of the killer queen arcade game. Play either by:
- Cloning locally and running cargo run --features bevy/dynamic_linking --release
- Go to https://lukemcneil.github.io/killer-queen/ (compiled to WebAssembly)
Does the web page game work for you? Mine just sits there.
Looks like it used to have a console version called Killer Queen Black but it was de-listed due to the hosting server shutting down. That’d be your most likely avenue of finding a way to play it single player. Either that or finding an open source project
Having played it a decent amount, I’d imagine it would be the easiest game to copy.
