The initial report tells us that Jeffrey Epstein (Jewish) was allowed to make an unscheduled, unrecorded phone call (unmonitored). Using a non inmate telephone system line to a local 646 area code, at 6:58pm, contrary to BOP policy but with the permission of a Unit Manager, which lasted until 7:19pm then Epstein was taken back to his cell, without a cellmate.
