He started talking shit about Putin and everyone thought “how is he getting away with this?” Putin pays his bills too so there’s even more reason not to on top of it. Na, Putin made a deal with Prigozhin to let him talk shit about him publicly and stage a coup. In return Putin could make it look like he killed him so no one else would try it and Prigozhin gets to fade off into folklore drinking beers on a beach somewhere. Repositioning troops was an added bonus. The “coup” was a joke. If it was real a lot more Russian army would have made an attempt to stop it but no one did under putins orders. It’s not like it would be completely unheard of to lose a finger after being in a small jet that got hit by a missile that then hurtled 30k ft to the ground and exploded.
