    They have learned that it is fulfilling but most likely it is not what they really want.

      You’re working on two flawed premises. First, that everyone is a rational actor. Second, that everyone wants to do good, or even agrees what that is.

        People don’t act entirely random.They do what is best for them. If people would randomly hit other people, mass gatherings would be impossible.

          If people did what was best for themselves, there would be no addicts in the world. While not everyone randomly hits other people, there are people in every city who do.

          Also, irrational and random are not the same thing.

            Think about the addicts. They do what is best for them. Understand that and you understand why everybody can be influenced by more than just whopping.
