After yesterday’s tub kill I’m in my warm fuzzy zone of sub-30 tubs. Even when I buy the upcoming Fanzine Saponifications release I’ll be right at 30 tubs which is fine by me.
I’m stoked for Stallions releases! Probably should thin my den out to make some room…

- Passes & Info: 1 pass on the dome, 2 on the face - felt smooth, but strong burn when applying the post-shave. 1 weeper on the neck.
Rainy day, so it was time for some cold weather scents. Masala Connection smells a bit more mature than I actually am, but I really enjoy those scent notes combined.
It seems like my skin needs a break from shaving tomorrow. While I used my mildest razor and the actual shave felt good, my skin burned when I applied the ASB lotion - and it’s alcohol-free.
At least I had a nice 3 day streak.scratch that, I realised it was actually a 4-day streak!July 30, 2025

This was a test shave of the Escher edge that I put on this D.C. Halsted razor. I thought it went very well!

As predicted, there were horses around our yurt when I shaved. Both in dead and very life-affirming form. It was fun to shave in nature.
The Kyrgyz mountains are a breathtaking experience I really wasn’t prepared for. Unfortunately, I threw out my back (again), so it looks like travelling will be my personal hell for the next few days 😭
