Wife and I just booted it up again for a few in-game days. Like slipping on comfy old socks. I kind of wish steam had mods on the workshop to improve ease of accessibility and co-op compatibility. We’ve already perfected it a few times. Even with old content, the pace and gameplay loop still feels fun
There are some great mod managers last I checked, did a full run with my sister with SDV Expanded, Ridgeside valley and a bunch of others.
Smapi is the solution to modding.
My wife plays this quite a lot and she is trying perfection year 1.
She doubts she will get it but wants to see how far she gets.
Then there is her long term save of a stack of 999 of just about every item.
We just tried the board game for the first time: played it twice last night. It was fun. We barely completed Grandpa’s goals the first time, but the second time, we finished Grandpa’s goals and the community center in the second week of winter.
where did you get it?
I borrowed it from our local library. They’ve been going crazy on board games these last couple years.
Lucky you! I thought the game’s stock was limited
I need to actually play the story part of the game some time. I was just sandboxing raising cows until the dungeon came along, and now all I do is the dungeon.
I have had the game practically since launch and have never actuallg attempted to “finish” it or really do any quests or romances. 😅
