Your face when it boots after an update
I see what you did there
Im using arch to make this post. And I am drinking coffee. I love the coffee!
I am saddened to announce that I may have to drop my arch based distro due to me being unable to attain a wife. Will revisit once married.
Someone should do a meme where each office character is a Linux distro.
“How To Piss Off Two Fandoms At The Same Time”
Oscar would be red hat?
Would Dwight be arch?
If we allow any *nix, I think Stanley should be AIX.
Creed would be Tails.
Dwight would be Artix. Michael would be Arch. Ryan, I think Manjaro, banished to the cupboard. The short-lived “I’m aware of the effect I have on women” manager would be Nix.
Jim is Debian, Pam is Mint, and (guy who was engaged to Pam and I can’t remember his name) is Ubuntu.
Judgemental and sanctimonious cat lady might be Guix or GNU/Hurd, always on the others’ ass about not being “free” enough. Kevin is either Gentoo or LFS.
And the warehouse staff, who actually get shit done, are the BSDs.
Jim is Red Star Linux:
Pam and her ex fiancé are all Jim’s kids?
I’ve only been on Linux about a year. I started with Bazzite and then switched to Garuda. Garuda is Arch based but has always been fast and easy, even with an Nvidia card.
Am I missing something? Arch seems fine.
I’m pretty sure this is a joke about
yay
(“Yet Another Yogurt - An AUR Helper Written in Go”), when you have it installed you can just type yay into the terminal and update your system including all AUR packages. That makes total sense. I haven’t dipped my toes into AUR, so I’m not surprised I missed it.
tried garuda as my first distro, i couldn’t even get installation to finish, then the one without nvidia included worked but all sound devices were completely missing
