This is probably about Silksong, isn’t it? The hype around that game is insane. I know a guy who’s spent 30+ hours playing it. That’s more than 7.5 hours every day since it was released! And all the people trying to download it crashed Steam for a while.

I kinda miss the days when I got really hyped about a new game (or a new album, a movie, a book, or anything, really). I think the last one I was really excited about was Pokemon Platinum or maybe Heartgold (2008 and 2009), or maybe one of the Gen 4 spin-offs like Mystery Dungeon. But it brings me joy to see others get hyped, and that’s good enough :3
