Sadly, I think it’s necessary. Totally up to talk things out though. Would love to see a way without mutual ensured destruction, but I don’t. I am absolutely open for an EU that has positive relations to both countries, but as long as Russia is attacking Ukrain, Russia is the enemy.
Is it so surprising? Britain and France both have a couple of hundred but Russia and their new puppet state have around 10 000 between them. The USA is more likely to go to war with Europe than with Russia at this point and we need to be able to deter that with the threat of punishment. Otherwise Vance will 100% bring about his lake of fire when trump has his next stroke.
