From reddits 196, the only rule on the subreddit was that once you had visited the subreddit you had to post something before you left. I remember at the very beginning of the subreddit it was people posting whatever they had on their clipboard or the last image they had downloaded so it was just an unfiltered slice of life. They titled it “rule” cause what else were you going to title the random picture of a building you thought was neat?
Now (especially after a migration to Lemmy) the instance/subreddit is just an excuse to post memes and adding “rule” to the title is a relic.
