Nah, what I’m saying is we need to take over the party and purge the feudalists acting as controlled opposition. That requires recognizing that there is a problem with the shit they feed us, not pretending that it’s anything but shit.

I agree! I’ve thought the same thing for forty years. The real truth, though, is that “the shit they feed us” is what we told them we wanted to hear - as far as they know.

Consider this: whatever perfect political organization of “the left” you can imagine already has a global communications platform. Several, in fact. So? So - prove the messages that resonate are popular. Prove that healthcare for all [or insert political goal here] wins elections.

That’s a crazy big ask. And you’ll get yea far before you start thinking “We could do a lot of things if we had some money”. Well - go get some money then. And before you know it, you’ve rebuilt the Democratic Party.

OR - we could infiltrate the party as-is and make it do the right things. Y’know keep the letterhead and like that but, with [insert platform] instead of sucking corporate dick. That has its own challenges of course.

But it’s either the former or the latter because we’re already living in the third way.
