Any tolerance or acceptance of what the Trump administration is doing, infers complicity in the desecration of US democracy.

I think the messaging is very clear: furthering Putin’s agenda of affecting the destruction of the US as a collaborative international force for “good”; hiding the shit these feckless traitors will all hang for when their incompetence catches up with them.

I think it’s the kind of smile that one does when ordered to pose for a propaganda photo in support of a dictators illegal war that killed your child. That is not joy on display there.

I am sorry my American friends but it is going to get a lot worse before it returns to the status quo and I doubt that it will even remotely get better ever again. As a nation you have lived off the spoils of victory and sided with despots because you have been happy with the crumbs that rich capitalists throw at you. Only when your conscience got the better of you, have you engaged in altruism and even then it was for the furthering of corporate interests.

You will no longer command the respect of your allies and trust of those that you once claimed to protect. Your friends will now treat you with suspicion and maybe contempt. Well, yes. You could bury code or malicious data in an image, QR or otherwise, and leverage an exploit that during processing of the visual data within the camera subsystem or inter subsystem calls could hypothetically trigger an execution path that results in a different outcome than expected, all without user permission. There is a lot of sw and hw sec controls in play at internal system boundaries and it would be very very difficult to gain privilege enough to fist fuck a phone but not impossible.

With the outstanding level of FR, NFR and Sec testing that companies perform these days it is not likely to happen. It’s not like they push out minimal viable products or something, right? /S
