Sega GT and Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions on the og xbox

I really loved the menu music in Sega GT and I think about it a lot

Wreckless had wonderful maps and cool game mechanics. What it lacked was a free roam mode (at least version I played) but maybe bc you only got a taste of it during the missions it made the idea of an open world version of HK more tantalizing

All of the AI slop feels that way. It’s like being in a dream or nightmare where people, things and places look real but feel wrong and where things appear and disappear and change into the unfamiliar familiar. It’s like constantly being in the uncanny valley

Having played both I tend to agree that the gameplay is better in 5 but the vibes are better in 4. There was something magical about it that I think was missing in 5. I played them back to back in 2022. It is annoying that some car models seem to be carried over from FM2 though (s15 Sylvia and r34, mainly)

I think all forzas since like the second or third version of FM have rewind

I’ve had mine for 3ish years as well and it’s great. I think that the A button may be going but it might be my own carelessness with presses.

I don’t even use it as a wireless controller. I just plug it into my computer with a USB C cable.

The cop aspect is a significant part of the commentary but also a plot device to put you in the situation to examine circumstances that you as a character would otherwise not be involved in.
