There are some niche features, but if you’re not aware of them then no. It’s just licence encumbered btrfs for the majority of us.

I recall someone criticised how nowadays a battery is fitted into every single electrical appliance. They were very much in favour of the good old cord, and the example they brought up was shavers.

It does make some sense. Likely you’re only ever using it at home right next to a power outlet and the battery is one of the first parts to give in.

I haven’t read the books. Is there any background for choosing vodka martinis in particular? As opposed to, say plain vodka. Was it just a more socially acceptable dose of alcohol?
