Idk why anybody puts any stock into this stuff. I mean, Astrobot won GotY, which don’t get me wrong, Astrobot is a cool game with some really good uses of the PS4 graphics capabilities, efficiencies, and hardware, but it really just served as the wake to the graveyard of PS Exclusives.

The best controller I have ever had is a Xbox 360 Pro Wireless controller. I still use that shit for computer stuff and it works so well. XB1 controllers are such crap compared to it. Honestly most gaming peripherals have been getting noticably worse in build quality.

BG3 is a hot mess of a game that gets a pass solely because of the strength of the first act and peoples love of D&D.

Most of the disability mechanics do not work properly, the story is a mess, especially when doing multiplayer, and the world doesn’t recognize when major changes are made half the time, and most of the characters are fine, but mostly good if you really want to fuck them. The first act is a tour de force though. It’s a interesting, if janky game, when it is working properly, but Divinity 2 is a better executed concept, with far more difficult and skilled combat.

However D2 is not as heavily advertised as D&D and not as critically acclaimed (see awards as advertising) as BG3.

The reason people are abandoning Warhammer is because of the intense IP protection and terrible story direction they are going. Nobody that I know that likes Warhammer cares even abit about ‘wokeness’, and if anything, them increasingly catering towards the Space Marine players is killing the franchise.

The devs absolutely are left-leaning, the whole thing started as an in-joke in their office. They even make it explicit that super-earth doesn’t develop any tech of it’s own, they just steal it.

It’s almost as if, instead of a footnote as most liberal academics would like to have you think, acceptance or rejection of Marxism (or aspects of it) is THE defining philosophy of the 20th and 21st century. It is almost as if every other modern social science was spawned from either trying to verify, disprove or create an alternative framework to avoid dealing with marxism.
