Dragon Age: Marx Brothers still sounds better than Dragon Age: The Marx Brothers
what sounds even better is Dragon Age: Marx and Engels (the dragon is capitalism you have to slay or something, idk I’ve never played Dragon Age)
cod is woke though (you can have a rainbow gamer tag while shooting people)
has the game (the AC) even come out yet?
Semi-agree, the weird pauses were baffling at times, but the voice itself was very cool
They would 100% be trying to peddle ape runes inscribed with XP cost (for extra permanency) as the next big investment opportunity
I remember that the one anarchist companion is described as extremely childish and averse to books. Which would be funny in a game like DE, but since Outer Worlds defangs any real alternatives to capitalism, what could have been funny satire becomes text
Yeah, agreed. I know fuck all about guns but well-implemented iron sights can be a blast, it just feels nice. Same with recoil on a more punchy weapon, or good sounds for the guns. Sure you could strip these “unnecessary” features, and keep the mechanics of how the bullets fly the same, but it is cooler with them
holy shit you just reminded me of that completely ludicrous HL2 mod. It was called something like “cinematic mod” and the guy who made it upped the texture resolution (it looked pretty bad), fiddled with lighting (also in a bad way), remade some levels (aaand we’re three in the hole for bad) then spent the rest of his effort replacing all female characters’ models with ones that have huge boobs and skimpy outfits, it was hilarious.
And apparently some people dug into the files and the Alyx model even had a fully modeled cervix for whatever reason
the nettles are already picked for alchemy ingredients
Give less of a shit of what your peers will think of you, do your own thing as much as you’re able. And also read leftist shit, be it Marx or Goldman, that will make you a better person overall.
It’s also telling that one of the major artworks used to “promote” the aesthetic is literally a yoghurt commercial, but since it’s a cute animation, it gets a pass.
I mean yes and no. DS1 will forever be my favorite, but I liked 2 and 3 as well, for different reasons.
I hated that they made it a “regular” magic type in the later games, scaled with your stats. It was a great support magic for melee builds, afterwards it just became another casting build.
I’ve had a yellowjacket nest next to my window for years and they never bothered me. Now I occasionally get these fucking huge hornets flying into my house but they are pretty chill too, they immediately understand they’ve taken a wrong turn and look for a way out
I haven’t had any big mishaps myself, but I worked in a wafer fab and apparently the person who came in to replace me after I quit, dropped a whole box of wafers like a month into the job. Shit worth like $1M.
That said, massive fault on the company for a lack of better procedures handling those, and afaik the person didn’t even lose the job as it was an honest accident.
I live in the Doom Mines. I mine doom.
Honestly, it’s not good for much and the economy has been trash lately, the mine has been flooding and wheat doesn’t grow well here. I don’t really see it getting much better any time soon.
start of the day is a little much, but make it a cooldown like the thought cabinet
I mean even compare something like Gothic 1 or 2 to newer open worlds. The former have much smaller worlds, but packed to the brim with interesting content, and every nook feels unique. You get a kind of fast travel but even without it, travel doesn’t feel like a chore, because there is very little empty space in the game, and even if you need to go from one side of the map to the other, it won’t take you that much time.
Probably not favorite-favorite (many of those have already been mentioned), but Children of Morta needs some love. A solid action roguelike with a very well done narrative and great atmosphere.
Sadly it wasn’t on there, but thanks for the link, I found the origin of a different sample in a completely different song by a different artist that I’ve also been wondering about, so that was cool.
