I worked for a company we had 300 websites, the boss wanted to buy certs. I told him about Lets Encrypt. He loved the idea it saved us a bunch of money. I suggest we donate $100 to them. Hes says “NO F-ing way!”.

It’s not a ARM laptop. It’s a dell inspiron 16 with a amd processor. Everything worked out of the box with fedora even the fingerprint reader so I"m pretty happy with it.
Thanks, that did the trick.
All my machines are named on some variation of David Bowie albums. Outside - my laptop, Blackstar - server 1, Stardust - server 2, etc.
Just my impression but there seems to be a slightly older crowd here.
Fedora
My boss at the time (I was a writer for a tech magazine) asked me to review FreeBSD. I couldn’t get it to install (at all) so someone suggested Linux (Slackware) which was an insane idea at the time around 1995 or 1996. Slackware sort of worked, no sound and I had to do various really annoying things to get it to see my modem (which never really worked). But something about it was interesting and I stuck with it.
I asked my doctor “You’ve done this before, right?” he didn’t laugh.
thanks
I’ve asked my wife for a closed coffin just because I think the open ones are weird as f-. Other then that I’m going to be dead so it won’t matter.
