You know, I keep hearing this, but it’s beehaw people coming here and starting arguments. If it’s not a problem, then why are people getting annoyed? Beehaw is allowed to defederate if they really think so, but we don’t have to pretend like it’s a smart decision. And, at the end of the day, it only hurts them more than anyone else.

Browsing for new content and communities is so much better here. Like, incredibly so. I don’t know if it’s just the lack of repost and karma bots or what but the quality of content is so much higher.
It’s legal in a lot of places, here in NZ I left school at 15 and went to work full time. That was only about 12 years ago now.

Honestly, mods are the biggest problem and reddit and they have been for a long time. Huge communities are inconsistently moderated and there is no sense of fairness. Driving powermods of the platform is probably a good thing.
