I use ayahuasca in the context of the Santo Daime. Part of the Santo Daime aesthetic is to behave as if you are sober. That’s what I mean by adapt.

“The effects potentiate each other, so you will be tripping much harder.” – This is not how I experienced it. To me, the effects of each substance are pretty orthogonal. The combination is not multiplicative or even additive. It’s more like being on two separate substances that affect different aspects of experience. However, the cannabis made me less able to adapt as the force of the ayahuasca got stronger.
Now that I’ve experimented with the combo, I would say that cannabis interferes with the profound impartiality of ayahuasca. I enjoy ayahuasca more without cannabis.
I agree. I found Psychedelic experience dose-dependently modulated by cannabis: results of a prospective online survey that mentions, “cannabis smoked together with ayahuasca during ceremonies of the Brazilian Santo Daime Church.” So I guess the combo is metabolically fine.
Thanks for your concern with my psychological state, but I’m just asking if there is metabolic a counter-indication like for mixing alcohol and opioids. Or the combo of warfarin and ibuprofen.
Check out Santo Daime. When group behavior is the reference point, your conscious choice to harmonize with the group can help relieve varieties of self-centeredness including feeling entitled, lack of connection, and internal conflict. If your experience of psychedelics is only individual exploration then you have not had a chance to appreciate their full transformative potential.
After some self-experimentation, I’d say that CBN-O is 2-3x stronger than CBN. I’m not sure how long it lasts after ingestion (4-6 hours?), but its effects are mostly gone when I wake up. It’s great stuff to aid sleep.
