Are you objecting to him being described as a refugee?
It’s disingenuous.
Apparently its not. I was curious and started looking it up:

This guy has Jordanian citizenship and American citizenship. Two countries were he can live in safety and freedom. That’s what durable solution means.
He was a refugee.
He is no longer.
In describing his history, you can absolutely include his status as a refugee.
