Even if I could disregard the politics, I can’t deal with everything being censored. There’s just too much media that I like that is unavailable in mainland China, and I really dislike the domestic media, so much cliches and entire plot is predictible. And I’m not a porn addict or anything, but I want the option of porn to be available. Using a VPN is very unreliable. Toxic masculinity is so much worse.
Language barrier is gonna be another problem.
And I have a fucking Rural Hukou, everyone from my village is a conservative.

This is good advice. Do tell her to fuck of at a high volume, for sure, but reserve caution on actions, you might just hurt yourself worse. Just get away from her as fast as you can and don’t look back.
