• Take all the proboems the first game had and, instead of fixing ghem, make it worse. Give it a really bland story that goes absolutely nowhere. Make every quest as vague as possible. Hell, make it hard as fuck to even find side quests. Give it the most annoying combat you’ve ever seen in a game, where your stats and weapon really don’t even make a diffetence. Give it sub 30 fps. And that’s DD2.

Absolute worst sequel to anything I’ve ever played. Such a disappointment after the first game was so great with only a few issues that easily could have been remedied.

I played the second but not the first. The game is mid. It feels like an MMO rpg but in weird ways. Some of the quests were designed by a sociopath. An example: there are collectible discs throughout the game. Hundreds of discs. One quest near the end of the game has you go find the place you picked up your first disc. And you only have seven in game days to find it. Literally impossible unless you wrote down where it was. There are other little things but if you have zen like patience it’s decent. Just don’t pay full price, it’s not worth it.

To be fair the PS store always was the IGN of store ratings. The game doesn’t start but instead a small plastic projectile gets shot out of the disc drive straight at your balls? 3/5 PS store rating.
