Aren’t most superpowers an infinite glitch by themselves?
Like if they used their voodoo to crank a giant turbine instead of causing or fighting crime, the entirety of the power industry instantly becomes obsolete.

Doesnt the blob cannonly win? Like wasnt the hulk trying to lift the blob so bad that it almost destroyed the earth? Hes theoretically infinitely strong.

My thought was to make a plumbing system that pipes water up and down, and someone’s superpower removes the effect of gravity on the upward flowing section only. Gravity accelerates water going down, but doesn’t decelerate it coming back up. But, I don’t know anyone who actually has control over gravity in a defined area other than myself in my dreams.
Most of them. Control over water? Infinite power. Air? Infinite power. Fire? Same. Anything at all that creates movement or new objects? Also infinite.
It’s not infinite as long as the person with powers isn’t immortal and the engine generating energy needs maintenance.
A physics breaking free energy machine would be called infinite too despite needing repairs

Also what if they have the ability to make permanent portals? Then it’s infinite after death anyway
