Just because someone is 18 and ‘legal’, it doesn’t make it not gross for a 40 year old to date them. It’s an improvement from dating a 15 year old, but gross regardless.
When you’re a teenager, other teenagers are hot as fuck. I guess it makes sense that if you never develop as a person beyond that, then you would find teenagers attractive as an older person. Still gross, mind you.

It’s about the kind of people who quickly defend being attracted to children as “not pedophilia” because they’re technically teens. Same kind of people who know age of consent in various countries.

Sadly, that’s what happens when we let conservatives and liberals muddy the waters. Knowledge gets tossed down the drain because some abusers want dignity - and where is the sense in that.
The result of this muddy water is the indoctrination that one thing means several other things that are not remotely true. But, the thing is - these people are more accurately just straight up sex offenders. They are abusers where the victim is anything that moves no matter what age; child, teenager, adult are all victims.
