Lemmy already federates with Pleroma and Mastodon since two months. But there are a lot more projects out there, and it would be great to federate with them as well. In terms of programming this is now relatively easy, as our rewritten federation code is quite flexible. However, I need help with testing from people who are familiar with these projects. @nutomic what puzzles me a bit is that both with mastodon as well as pleroma I cannot jump to this lemmy post. I always get straight to SocialHub. Does this ring a bell? Is that intentional?
I guess if you click on the time, it will bring you to Lemmy. Anyway, this is a question for Mastodon devs, as its their decision how the interface works.
