Supergiant has thst special magic going on with them. I was vaugely familiar with Bastion and Transistor but Hades really cemented them for me as a studio that consistently puts out quality stuff.
You may be pleased to know that Supergiant streamed their first tech demo of Hades 2 yesterday. Looks pretty great!

I love all the games of theirs I’ve played so far, and I’ve hated the weird enemy HP scaling in all their games I’ve played so far. And I feel like I’m the only one that does.
I swear that was just a fucking incredible album that happened to come with a game attached.

I absolutely loved Bastion. I ended up picking up Hades, not realizing it was the same developer, and falling in love with Hades as well. Couldn’t be more excited for Hades 2
I’d suggest giving Pyre and Transistor a go as well.

Bastion OST is played once every session whenever I DM a game. Without fail. It goes so goddamn hard.

I loved what I played of that game. Unfortunately I played it exclusively with a partner who really hurt me so now I’ve got difficult memories associated with it. Hoping to get over those so I can finish it on my own, such an interesting game
