Period.” […] The Biden administration has now outpaced the Trump administration in approving permits for drilling on public lands, and the United States is producing more oil than any country ever has.       Yup, Biden must’ve realized that high oil prices are political suicide. Thing is, he should’ve realized it before making any promises. He might not have known beforehand that war would drive prices high, but he should’ve accounted for potential changes in the market, he’s leading a country, not a student company.
