After watching it I figured that was a given, it was great.
Hot take: I think the show is bad. I’m like halfway through and haven’t finished watching it, but it just seems so shitty and cheap. All the Studio Mir stuff looks like absolute shit. I watched the first episodes of Lazarus and Gundam GQuuux and it’s literally night and day the difference in quality.
Also yeah the show has so little in common with the games it’s really odd. Like the only things they seem to have kept are Dante, Virgil, and Sparda.
Same, I don’t really like any of the characters very much.

Ironically/hate watching something is still watching it. Netflix doesn’t give a shit if you liked it or if you thought it was too PC. You still sat down, logged into Netflix, and saw every episode. They did this with the Mindy Kaling Velma Scooby-Doo reboot, Star Wars, Star Trek, The Boys, Ghost Busters, etc. etc. and so on and so forth. Then they can’t figure out why things they hate get sequels and renewals.
some lore nerd said something about the show being about nero and hoping dante will show up in season 2 and i’m sure that’s a scathing criticism of the showrunners if i knew who any of those characters were
I don’t even think Nero is in it. It’s a prequel of sorts to the first game and Nero doesn’t even show up till the 4th.
