The concepts of joining an app to gossip about people you’ve dated, giving your personal information and government ID to said app, and continuing to do it after the initial leaks are wild to me. 🤦‍♀️

I needed to do it for unemployment benefits and was uncomfortable the whole time. If there was an in person option I would have done it, even if it took a 2 hr drive each way. I really disliked that they wanted my camera on for a face scan to confirm that it matched my id. Nope, nope, nope!

The official government website where I used to live got hacked and everyone’s personal info was stolen. So, I don’t trust that either.

So glad I’m not alone when reading things like this that just leave me baffled. Who would do such things? And even upload personal ID for such a dumb site?I can’t even…

This is pretty fucking hilarious. Someone saw the disaster that happened with the Tea app and decided to copy it?

The dev and the users are kinda getting what they deserve…
