It’s still a stackable offence. Just not classed as an instant dismissal offence. iE the company still need to follow procedure and give warning etc.

So basically in most company’s. You can get away with it w times before losing your job. So choose the bosses you want to insult very carefully.

Definitely not a sackable offence if your boss is a dickhead.

Only a dickhead would attempt to fire you for calling them a dickhead so it works either way.

I actually have a new job that I’m starting in January but I haven’t told my current place about it, because why should I.

So I’m just binding my time until I get to my leave date, and part of me is sort of seeing how far I can push things until I get fired. So I’m very tempted to try this.

I had a colleague who called our MD a fucking cunt on our works christmas do. Didn’t get sacked. He (colleague) did arrange a meeting with her first thing Monday morning and apologised though.

She - not from what I can remember no. My colleague’s nickname was “Angry Mark”, a constantly pissed off Scottish IT guy, I think calling everyone a fucking cunt and making sure they knew it was just parr of the course for him!

They remembered all to the times they called their employees “filthy peasants” on an open mic and realized this could backfire.
