    are china and japan new to this version or am i thinking of a different game? i only remember greek, norse, and egyptian factions

      For AoM retold they added 2 new civilitazion the Chinese thats reworked from a civ in the hd version and the newest who are the Japanese who are original

      They also added a new norse mayor god Freyr with 3 new minor gods
