Ripped a button off a shirt a few weeks ago and haven’t sewed it back on yet. The button was on the sleeve and it’s getting warm enough where I’d have the sleeves rolled up anyways, so I am considering just not doing it until the end of summer.

Hmm, thinking about it now, I actually don’t have much beyond the Breeze (Light/Dark) themes preinstalled either. I have the openSUSE themes, because I am on openSUSE.
Aside from that:
I believe, the Oxygen themes got removed from the default themes, possibly with Plasma 6.
But yeah, maybe you also just had additional theme packages installed. The Arch Wiki lists some of those, too.
The Arch Wiki says you should install it via the plasma-meta package for a full-fledged installation, and just the plasma-desktop package, if you want a minimal install. Is that maybe where you chose the wrong one?

Wenn du unter einem männlichen General dienst, dann ist die Chance höher, dass du als Frau benachteiligt wirst, entweder unbewusst weil der General einfach nicht auf dem Schirm hat, dass z.B. gewisses Equipment nicht für Frauen funktioniert, oder auch weil Themen wie sexuelle Belästigung von anderen Soldaten evtl. nicht ausreichend ernst genommen werden.
Genauso dienen weibliche Generäle auch als Vorbildfunktion. Wenn du ein Beispiel hast, wo eine Frau in ihrer Führungsposition ernst genommen wird, dann traust du es dir selbst auch eher zu. Und andere, die in der Hierarchie nochmal drüber sind, trauen es dir vielleicht mehr zu und investieren Zeit, um dich in der Richtung stärker zu befähigen.

I’m guessing, it’s a parody. There’s a couple which has been posting pictures like this to the internet, but it’s normally some amazing scenery from where they’ve travelled to. It’s always the woman in the center of the shot, dragging her partner along who’s taking the photo. I’m guessing, it’s trying to say that a hotdog stand is an amazing place to travel to…
openSUSE, because of the snapshotting. It’s zero-setup and just gives peace of mind when doing upgrades, as I can roll back even from the bootloader.

Jo, wenn mich ein Kind fragt, ob es Pudel gibt, die durch’s All fliegen, dann sage ich ja erstmal auch “Nein”, auch wenn ich mich gerne vom Gegenteil überzeugen lasse, falls man doch ein Rudel Pudel hinter’m Pluto findet.
Für mich ist die Unterscheidung zur agnostischen Weltansicht reine Semantik. Während Agnostiker das “theoretisch können wir’s nicht wissen” in den Fokus stellen, ist das für mich nur eine Randnotiz, weil es sowieso auf alles zutrifft.
Kann mir so gar nicht vorstellen, wie das nicht stattfinden soll.
Es ist weiterhin so, dass meist die billigsten Produkte in Plastik verkauft werden, weil Plastik eben nicht besteuert wird.
Aber auch quasi alles Tiefgekühlte. Da gibt’s teilweise Alternativen, wie den Joghurt im Glas. Größtenteils sind die Alternativen aber schwer vorstellbar, wie z.B. dass man den Scheibenkäse in der Pfanddose kauft. Stattdessen bedeutet ein Verzicht auf Plastik oftmals ein Verzicht auf Tiefgekühltes.
Gibt aber weiterhin auch genügend völlig bekloppte Produkte, die völlig unnötig Plastik verwenden. Hier im Laden liegen plastikverpackte Nudeln direkt neben papierverpackten Nudeln. Das sind dumme Nudeln, da gibt’s keine riesigen Unterschiede bei den Produkten. Wenn es einem also nicht vollkommen schnuppe ist, dann wird man doch zu den Papierverpackten greifen. Trotzdem ist immernoch der Großteil des Regals feinster Plastikmüll.
Genauso würde ich auch Küchenrollen und Toilettenpapier echt gerne ohne Plastikschlüpper kaufen. Ich meine, es ist verdammt nochmal Papier, warum kann man das nicht in Papier verpacken? Aber nicht mal das ungebleichte Ökopapier kommt auf die revolutionäre Idee.

I have no experience with this, but I figured a Rust library might have tried to solve it (static linking is very much the norm here) and I found that ash can statically link the “Vulkan loader”. I don’t know, what that actually means, for example whether it would still load libxcb at runtime. Might be worth looking into what they do…

Well, there’s been clones out there for a few years already. But I don’t think, it’s going to be quite as business-as-usual, since they can’t coordinate a switch to a specific clone, not to mention this clone very likely does not have the server capacity to take on all the users.
Somewhat depending on your country, local shops may have opened online storefronts during COVID. Them having a physical presence means their products tend to be decent quality (as most customers look at them physically before buying).
