Stealth games are a popular genre and I personally find the character of Gollum to be quite compelling and I think it could have been done well, but it obviously wasn’t.
I do a pretty accurate Gollum impression and have entertained friends with it at great length and sometimes to their annoyance so maybe I relate to the character more than is usual but I can’t be the only one.
My wife and I tried D:OS and she got really bored really fast. I think the pacing of the first couple of chapters is really slow and there’s a lot of reading and not a lot of action and she just lost interest really quickly. Too bad but I get it.
So I see him pretending to have answers…charismatic? Not so much.
I guess they don’t want my money
Totally normal with the current state of gaming. Hard to get excited about a game when in all likelihood it will release as a broken unplayable mess, missing promised features and rife with microtransactions. How many times can a person be disappointed before they learn to stop being excited in the first place? I know I have adopted a wait-and-see attitude about modern AAA games.
I will say I’m cautiously optimistic about the new Armored Core game, because Fromsoft is good people and the gameplay trailers I have seen look absolutely sick
How would it save them for you? By buzzing around people like a giant angry bee?
Can’t relate at all because nobody “belongs to” anyone
Was going to say Noita. Such an amazing game
Reddit working overtime to keep me from ever returning
My favorite version of this song is the one from Without a Net
Yeah honestly I picked it randomly and had been regretting not going with a bigger instance, but now I’m glad I went with it because I can still read both Beehaw and Lemmy.world so I’m not really caught up in that whole drama. Seems that there are some advantages to being on a smaller instance
I’ve been doing All/Hot as my default view and it seems to refresh often enough, not sure why I’m not having the same problem as others
Yeah we got that one and also Ahoy! Magazine
I knew a couple of other kids with C64s and we used to trade game disks. Half or more of the games on the disks wouldn’t work or would be completely incomprehensible but there were some real gems hidden in there. I remember my mom spending hours typing in the machine code for me, as I was quite young at the time. Eventually I taught myself BASIC and made a few choose your own adventure style games that where nothing but a series of if, then, goto statements
By the time Star Citizen releases SSDs will be obsolete
I’ve been playing RimWorld on my deck since I got it last August. Does it play other games? I have no idea.
I saw the same thing, lots of slurs being thrown around. I blocked the individual users. I’m not on either instance so I can still see both
hämis is love, hämis is life
Noita. It’s just so good. Easily in my top 5 games of all time.
People who don’t like anything are incredibly boring, in my humble opinion. Imagine putting all of this effort into an essay about why other people shouldn’t like the things that they like. I think a lot of people mistake being a contrarion for being an intellectual.
