I believe NeoDB is the only one in the works currently. But unfortunately I’m unable to find much about it in English, as it’s being developed in Mandarin first.

Even worse, 65.3 percent of Americans live within this zone.
It sounds like they’re going to be allowing anti-LGBT hate speech, which was formerly a ban-worthy offense on their platform. Reddit and most Lemmy instances have rules against this, so I imagine Squabblr is going to attract the same sort of people that like using Truth Social.
I believe it’s an all-electric quadricycle, not a typical car. This is meant for people that live in urban environments with short daily commutes. I could see something like this being great for people who may not be physically able to ride a bicycle or navigate some less-accessible metro networks. It’s also significantly cheaper than most electric vehicles.
John Jonik, the maker of this comic, maintains a website with high-quality images of many of his comics.
When their expensive luxuries are actively harming the planet, I think their indulgences offer us plenty of justification to hate. Private jets emit the same amount of CO2 in two hours that an average car does in a year. This frivolous waste poisons our air and warms our fragile seas. I’m not envious of private jets or yachts; it would be unethical for me to use them no matter how much wealth I had.
Is their preference really any more arbitrary than the preferences sapiosexuals or demisexuals have? It sounds like they probably have other traits that may make someone more or less attractive, they just have a minimum requirement for a certain body form for them to begin having attraction. That isn’t so different when compared to a sapiosexual who requires a high intellect before they can begin being more or less attracted based on other traits.
TL;DR: All preferences are weird, no need to call anyone out on their specific ones :)
She’s apparently a MAGA supporter, so I have no sympathy.
Doesn’t Peertube already do this?
I suspect (and seem to recall reading) that the exaggerated pronunciations and pitch changes of baby talk may help aid children in language acquisition. For some other social animals that heavily rely on vocalizations to communicate, like dolphins, perhaps they do so for a similar reason?
I am a huge fan of Proton’s paid vpn. Easy to use, relatively cheap, covers loads of devices, and includes encrypted email. I used PIA for a few years, but quit because it wasn’t able to effectively get around geoblocks.
I’ve also heard great things about Mullvad, but have no experience with them.
Instant memories of my grandmother. I should try making these sometime :)
The great thing about Lemmy though is that a community you interact with or even moderate doesn’t need to be on your instance. If you’re a member of Beehaw, which doesn’t allow community creation, you could start your Dune community on Lemmy.ml or another instance and moderate it with your Beehaw account.
I’m still holding out hope for a similar Legends game set in Kanto/Johto. Arceus was so much more fun than Violet for me.
/r/Fuckcars is one of my favorite subreddits. Do you know of any similar urbanist groups on Lemmy?
Thank you! I’ll pick up Utopia and look into the other ones you mentioned.
It’ll be a very different experience from Half Life, but I’d recommend Spiritfarer! There’s a sort of hunger mechanic, although it’s for the other characters that stay on your boat. Your ship is upgradable and you can place all sorts of structures on it. By the end of the game, it really feels like it’s uniquely yours.
Would you say any of the DLCs are a must? I’ve been enjoying the base game and can’t decide which ones to pick up.
I had the same experience! I’ve started New Vegas many times over the years, but never got very far along. Playing it on the Steam Deck was fantastic.
Yes, that’s it! Looks like the two existing instances are both in Mandarin only, and federation hasn’t been fully implemented yet.
