I’m hyped for the reforged release so I can chill and play on my steam deck. I played a ton back in the day, and have checked back in over time (most recent was 5 years ago), and excited to see there’s new interest.

    I will say I did like Guild Wars 1 back in the day. There are only 2 MMOs I seriously played, WOW and Guildwars 1. That was ages ago… Im not sure I would have the motivation for an mmo in the year of our lord 2025.

    I played back on release but didn’t really understand the game well at the time. I played a Necro with a green mohawk and posted emo song lyrics in group chat during instances. I guess I was roleplaying.

    Just bought Reforged to get into it because my favorite way to play MMOs is around people, not necessarily with them. I like communities and seeing people, but never again will I schedule time to play a video game or stay up till 3 AM grinding.

    The instanced hub design of it is really appealing to me for that reason. I’m also somewhat into Guild Wars 2 so it’ll be kind of cool to go back and get the lore.
