Considering the voice acting in the OG Octopath traveller, a lack of it in this one is probably a good thing. Though it wasn’t really the voice actor’s fault, that dialogue was some of the worst writing I’ve ever seen.
(Cut to you, the player, furiously mashing X to try to advance the opening combat shit so you can hurry up and grind those FUCKING TREANTS in the Forest of Purgation because you just had to level H’aanit for the final superboss fight)
