I hate their stage names. Baby, Sporty, Posh? Why tf didn’t they use actual spice names? Ginger was already there. Why others weren’t called Cinnamon, Pepper, Clove, and Nutmeg? Fucking Brits. 😤😡🤬

No idea what this is referencing. But have “purse” ibuprofen, home ibuprofen, and even minivan ibuprofen.

Why yes, I do have chronic pain and migraines. How could you tell?

I sent the image to my partner and accidentally caused her psychic damage by not immediately knowing that this was the Spice Girls too. I was born in '90 while she was born in '85 and I was like 26 when we got together, so we’re not that far apart in age. But where that gap falls is sometimes huge for us.

She’s apocalyptically gay, like “Mistook not being entirely repulsed by a boy for having a crush on them,” gay. So naturally, she was obsessed with the Spice Girls. I knew of them, but I didn’t really start branching out in my music tastes until the mid 2000’s. Before that it was basically entirely the Country music my Mom listened to or the Classic Rock my Dad listened to.

So yeah, this was another thing that I accidentally caused psychic damage to my partner with because of our age difference.

If you arent allergic, you should aleternate between ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Its easier on your guts (hypermobile chronic joint pain gang)

I’m not convinced acetaminophen is a drug. It might just be my problematic caffeine addiction but a can of pepsi is usually a better headache medicine than Tylenol.

I would but acetaminophen does nothing for me and I’ve got liver function issues largely from being well… large. Doc has told me to just avoid acetaminophen.

All I can really do is just only take the ibuprofen when none of the non-medication remedies help.

Oh is that what this is referencing? I definitely knew of the Spice Girls, I was just never really into them when I was younger. I was one of those kids whose family only really listened to Country music and didn’t really branch out much until like the mid 2000s. But when I did I was more into like Linkin Park, Celldweller, and like random DDR and anime music.

Do these generic painkillers even do a lot for migraines? I thought tryptamines were what helps most people

I unfortunately am not on prescription meds for it. I have tried a handful of some from friends with not much impact. I really need to get back to the doctor and to find something that works.

Not much. And for me, triptan side effects are nearly as bad as the migraine. Nurtec is the only thing I have really found effective.

Same. Acetaminophen (Tylenol). Backpack tylenol, office/desk tylenol, living room tylenol, bathroom tylenol, camping tylenol. I should totally put some in my car now that so many people mentioned, just in case my backpack isn’t with me.

I mean, yeah, but Baby Spice would be my choice.
However, I do think Sporty would do a better job and would probably hit me with a frozen kipper without me having to ask for it.

Yo, tell me what you want, what you really, really want, I’ll tell you want I want, what I really, really want … I really, really want some ibuprofen

I having some now from my desk supply of ibuprofen, but I do also have some garage ibuprofen and some bedroom ibuprofen … the best part is that I am a big brown long haired Native guy that knows these damned lyrics … and I’m embarrassed to say I know who all the shoes belong to - clockwise from the Union Jack high heel - Ginger, Scary, Sporty, Posh, Baby.

I have gout, which runs in my family (but I doubt the 90s pints helped). Therefore I was eating Ibuprofen like skittles for way too long to take the pain away. I finally relented and got on the meds after the diet and exercise didn’t fix it. Now I never take ibuprofen, and it makes me worry about how much damage I did to my organs and stomach lining while I was using it.

I grew up with those sassy bitches.

I don’t take ibuprofen, but I do drink a lot of caffeine to dull the ocular migraines.
