You just made a food pyramid that isn’t stupid.

Only truly cheap if you make it yourself. That’s why I commented below on the missing item of “effort”.
The one thing missing from the trinity is “effort”. For instance, you could make any Dal, which would fit the trinity, but takes a lot of time. There are books with hundreds of Dal recipes that all taste different and work, too. And this is just one example. Less than a dollar a meal if made in bulk with rice.
Respectful post, but respectfully disagree. The longer the fediverse can stay free of monetary-driven communities, the longer it will last. Wait until the proposals for blue check marks and karma hit the ActivityPup “plus” standard and it’s too late for the platform.
Might have to give Fair Email a shot. I use AquaMail now, and it’s about the only non-foss app I use.
Same in Firefox. And if you only get the preview in reader mode, refresh after you are in reader mode.
I had this feeling when deleting another social media account. On a good note, it’s fleeting. Now most are in the void for me.
One comment, account is new. Either they forgot the /s or they’re a troll.
The not being able to click on a message in the inbox and get to the comment in context is a big one for me.
I didn’t come here to have my options limited. I’d stay on Reddit if that were the case, and I don’t need another YouTube “remove dislike for my own good” moment.
Context: I rarely used downvotes on Reddit, but there were also pretty involved mods. I could see in this federated world a bit of wildness, and not being able to snuff out the misleading with downvotes could be an issue. I hope I rarely use it here, too, but it will only take not being able to once for it to be a deal-breaker.
Didn’t realize I couldn’t downvote. Might be time to look elsewhere.
Calculated.
If I had figured out how to search for threads, I would point you to the thread from yesterday that got a bunch of comments. The answer is, yes, but.
It’s not as efficient on the network, as it’s a client getting all content for your subscriptions that isn’t distributed to other users. But it will work just fine and has advantages like permanent account and control. Invite your friends, all it takes is one or two to make it worth the overhead.
backend changes for a more unified codebase between the desktop client and the Steam Deck client.
Who wants to bet desktop Big Screen quick-chat in RL gets broken again.
Were you logged in on the browser? If not, that could have been why.
If I had more free time, I’d make a migration tool.
I run my own fork where I added MySQL support for aliases. But otherwise it’s great.
Can’t recommend this enough: https://github.com/docker-mailserver/docker-mailserver
An ultralight chair, since you no longer have a heavy round one.
