    didnt he also unban everyone who was banned no matter the reason and as such tons of nazis and the like returned?

      more or less correct, yeah. the unbans continue too: recently Paul Nehlen got unbanned despite literally being too racist and violent for Gab, the openly and proudly neo-nazi twitter clone. he was banned there for doxing another white supremacist who didn’t openly advocate for terrorism!
