Dear people of Krakow,

we invite you to show solidarity with the Iranian women and men who are fighting for freedom.

You have most probably all heard that very significant but terrible events are currently taking place in Iran.

Open peaceful protests by hundreds of thousands of people in all provinces in Iran against the long-standing authoritarian regime, against bans and repression, have resulted in mass arrests and even shootings of protesters.

Independent media report hundreds and thousands deaths and detentions. There is no accurate data, in particular because the internet and telephone communications are almost completely blocked in Iran…

We invite all people of good will in Krakow to express their solidarity with the Iranian people fighting for freedom and civil rights and to raise the visibility of their protest as much as we can.
