Perfect for VR
Boink! Right into the pillar, again
Just cut it down. /s
Had to take my coffee table out of my living area to get enough room in my apt. Only other option would have been moving my pc to bedroom and tossing out my bedframe
Worth it.
Throw in a server rack and it’s perfect.
I’m too old to be getting down on the fucking ground like that. Needs a frame of cinder blocks and plywood.
You should do that anyways. Bed frames exost for a reason: it helps to stop moisture building up on the underside of the mattress, and thus prevents mold.
That plus less bugs end up crawling across your face at night.
I’m just thankful for any physical contact at this point.
To be fair, air mattresses are like shittier futons and don’t get moldy because you’re always moving them around.
Source: I used to live with this setup, only in a smaller room.
Pfft. Just buy a new mattress and put it in a different place
I just smother the bottom of my mattress with lotrimin and figure I’m good to go for a few years
How about a row of cinder blocks along the sides? See? Easy
This shit is putting men in a box and " hu duh, men basic, like dog"
What would you add other than a better bed?
mini fridge for beer
Some rope lights would be a nice touch.
Well, for starters, a bed frame. Lamps for better lighting, an couple night stands, something to divide up the space a bit (assuming this is a studio), book shelves, some plants, some art on the walls, an area rug, table and chairs, and a couple couches and a coffee table, some kind of speaker system, some kind of storage system for any equipment I own for job and hobbies. I also like wooden desks.
Like, the environment you spend time in has an impact on your mental state. Making that environment nice will make you feel better. The way your living space looks also says a lot about you. What this space says is “I literally do nothing but sleep and look at a computer screen”. Which is less “hell yeah” and more “this cyberpunk dystopia isnt as neon as I expected.”
So if this is what you want, then follow your bliss I guess. But also, if you are having trouble dating… Look around you.
this cyberpunk dystopia isn’t as neon as expected
Well, is it?
Can’t help but read this and feel like you think I like this type of room. Bold of you to assume I would live in a basement.
And tomorrow they’ll post a picture of a 10,000$ gaming setup with LEDs and shit and claim that women can’t possibly understand spending a ton of money on furniture and decorations.
Not to mention that this joke has been done to death. For years pictures of empty rooms with a matress have been posted to claim that “this is what men want”. (Until next week, when we’ll post a picture of a gaming room full of expensive furniture and elaborate decorations and claim that THIS is what men want, actually, for real, I swear.)
Low carbon footprint living gets way more hate than it should (and it shouldn’t get any).
hell, I wish I had something more like that and not a house full of shit I don’t use most of the time.
I wish I had this much room to practice the blade.
Out of frame: a huge ass TV and a single armchair.
Why have an armchair? Just roll the gaming chair over
hell yeah
I need three desks. Modern PC desk, retro PC desk, and a soldering desk. Otherwise, perfect.
It is just missing a cinder block nightstand and a dead plastic plant to tie the place together.
Dead plastic plant. For when you want everyone to know you are irresponsible, but without the responsibility
I’m a responsible adult, which is why I only grow living plastic plants.
It’s a bit much for me, as I’d want the mattress more elevated, but let me tell you, I am 99% sure I have adhd, and minimalism like this appeals to me so it’s less shit I have take care of, every item in your house is a fucking dust collector that you have to wipe down, fuck that shit, I only want the absolute essentials, rest is slowly going to the bin
Men? Look at this flooring, look at this lighting project! Amazing place
Needs two more monitors.
Right? What is their workflow even like?
I just finished eight months of not having an office. I worked in random places off of only my laptop, 15.5" 1080p. I’m back in an office but not set up yet. For me, two monitors is workable, three is better. Split screen apps on a single laptop screen is barbaric.
Needs a motorcycle being rebuilt in it, with that much open space
Cuts a Wall open, now i can park my car inside.
