People from Wrocław involved in the anarchist movement have joined the No Borders Team – a nationwide initiative helping in the area near the Polish-Belarusian border. We’re aiding people who are trying to find refuge in Europe – we prepare basic packages with the most essential supplies for people lost in the forest, we collect supplies in Wrocław and transport them to the border, we plan educational actions against borders. No Borders is a life philosophy of open people. Everyone has the right to live in a place of their choosing. Everyone has the right to dignity and human rights regardless of their country of origin, skin colour or the contents of their wallet. We expect that our actions will not be a one-time task but a long-term operation, but currently we want to focus on helping the migrants that are being pushed back into the forest by Polish uniformed services regardless of their health or the reasons why they found themselves in this situation. These people are being denied their basic rights, and ultimately the right to live. Winter is coming and almost everyday there is news of more people dying from hypothermia. The money will be used on basic packages, food, medicine, fuel and other supplies needed for work at the border.
