I offer the liberal enlightened centrist conclusion: all the companions are cool and good, though I think Raul, Gannon, & Veronica are my favorites. Hard not to take Boone sometimes though; the highlighting enemies is nice, him killing enemies before you even know they’re there is nicer.

I’ve been playing with a mod that allows you to have multiple companions active at the same time based on your charisma stat so I’ve been running Arcade/Veronica/Boone. I do love them all though, even though some companions really feel like they got a lot more love than others (Cass has like three times as many voicelines as either Lily or Raul).
